Who Am I?
My Background
My name is Rebecca, I have been a childminder since 2011 and in my last inspection of 2016 the setting achieved an Ofsted rating of GOOD in all areas. I live my husband Steve, our two beautiful children James and Cerys in the seaside town of Worthing, West Sussex. We have two pet black rescue cats called Maggie and Whimslow.

I have always loved to be around children and when my son went to a childminder I thought what a lovely home from home environment it offered, so when the opportunity arose at the start of my son going to school, I went to train and qualify as a childminder offering the same experience to other parents.
The setting offers a fun, friendly and educational environment that natures a child's own learning and development needs i follow the pedagogies of Reggio Emilia, Montessori and I'm working towards my Hygge Accredition.

Becky looks after my two year old and six year old (school run to and from school) and they both love the time they spend with her (her daughter and son). My daughter, who was at a nursery before we moved to the area, had no problems settling into her new setting thanks to Becky. She loves all the activities and outings - baking cakes, making pizza to eat for dinner, visits to Santa, the library, play groups etc. The fact that both my children enjoy their time at Becky's Little Treasure childminding is all down to Becky and her relaxed yet no nonsense approach. Knowing that they are happy and well taken care of while I am at work, means that I can focus on my work and not worry. I would definitely recommend Becky's Little Treasures childminding!!

Becky looks after my two year old, who is extremely shy, and has had, almost no interaction with anyone but close family. I've been really pleased with how well she is settling in, in the short time she has been going, and also how much her communication, and social skills are improving. The activities they do are really varied, and Taighan enjoys doing all of them. I cannot fault Becky in any way.

I have over 41 policies and procedures in regards to providing a safe learning environment for the children and families that are cared for at the setting. A hardcopy can be requested and sent to parents on request

Answers You Need
What is the maximum number of children you can take care of at once?
I am registered to look after six children under the age of 8. One child under age 1, three children under 5 and 2 children who are school aged. I can also look after children over 8 years of age.
What childcare do you offer?
I offer part time, fulltime childcare, before & afterschool care. Term time only childcare for working professionals. Holiday only childcare and also the 2,3 and 4 year old funding both 15hrs and 30hrs
Do you accept childcare vouchers and Free Entiltment funding?
Yes, I accept both schemes
